As a joint team of police and army approached the designated area on May 4, Magray made a desperate attempt to escape by leaping into the gushing river. The drone footage captured the moment he jumped into the water, where he was subsequently swept away by the strong current.

Local residents discovered Magray’s body later and promptly alerted the police. A police team arrived on the scene to recover the body for medico-legal procedures. Authorities in the administration informed that legal proceedings are ongoing regarding this incident.
