In light of these developments, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to convene a critical security review meeting on Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The meeting aims to reinforce the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and will include discussions with key figures such as Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, senior officials from the JK Police, the Indian Army, intelligence agencies and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

This review comes in the aftermath of the tragic attack on Wagay and his family, underscoring the urgent need for coordinated efforts among security agencies to combat terrorism effectively. At a previous meeting held on December 19, Shah had directed all security forces to enhance their collaborative strategies to eliminate terrorist threats in Jammu and Kashmir.
