Karnataka: Board exam held after Supreme Court quashed pleas demanding otherwise
New Delhi: Karnataka School Examination and Assessment (KSEAB) held Class 5, 8 Board Exams 2023 from March 27, 2023, after the Supreme Court quashed a petition filed by some private unaided schools, which demanded to halt the tests.
As per the Deccan Herald, the department was ready having all the papers ready while waiting for the decision by the Supreme Court. The exam was conducted as soon as the top court gave it a nod.

The exam began as per the schedule at 2:30 pm and ended without any problem.

As per official data, there was a total of 9.59 lakh students appering for class 5 while, as many as 9.43 students appeared for class 8.
