Bommai’s statement came after the party observed that it is lagging behind Congress in the ongoing vote-counting for the Karnataka Assembly Polls.
As per the Election Commission of India (ECI) poll trends, Congress is leading at 125 seats while BJP managed to get a hold on 69 constituencies so far.
However, CM Bommai is leading on his seat – Shiggaon, with 63,384 votes by noon.
