New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday aimed his attack on Congress and accused the latter of backing up those who spread terror and aligning with them while speaking in Mudabidre in Karnataka.
Addressing a public rally, the Prime Minister referred to a bomb attack that took place in Rajasthan a few years ago which claimed at least 50 lives.
He said, “In Rajasthan, Congress protected the accused involved in a bomb blast. All the accused got clean chit. Will you let Congress come to power in Karnataka, will you let them destroy your state?”
PM added that grand-old party is solely recognised for his “appeasement policy” as all the accused in the Rajasthan Bomb blast walked free innocently.
The Prime Minister said Congress is an enemy of development and peace. He added that investors in respective states run away wherever the Congress make the government. “Those who want development expel Congress from their states,” added the PM.
He also took a dig at former Congress cheif Rahul Gandhi for his remarks in London that Inidian democracy is under attack.
PM said, “The whole country respects our soldiers but Congress insults our soldiers. Today, the whole world is giving respect to democracy and development in India, but the reverse gear Congress is defaming the country by roaming around the world and defaming the nation on foreign soil.”
The Karanata Assembly Polls will take place on May 10 while, the results will be announced on May 13.
