New Delhi: With the beginning of the month of Shravan, the process of Kanwariya’s arrival has started from different districts, including Delhi and Haryana, to Brajghat to take the holy water of the Ganga. The police and administrative officers are working day and night to make better arrangements so that no untoward incident happens. The plan for route diversion has been prepared, and as soon as it is implemented, only vehicles carrying essential commodities will be allowed to come from inside the city. To make the process easy and fast, Hapur Police has started a new initiative by introducing the vehicle pass, which the driver can get while sitting at home through a QR code and link provided.

According to the police, after scanning the QR code or opening the link, the first applicant will have to enter his e-mail ID. After that, the online page will open. In this, the applicant has to enter his name, vehicle owner’s mobile number, address, vehicle registration number, vehicle driver’s name, driving licence number, vehicle driver’s Aadhaar card number, vehicle mobile number, vehicle type, and material loaded in the vehicle. Details of the material loaded in the vehicle, photo of the billet or bill, place of loading of the vehicle, place of unloading, vehicle pass (when to when), WhatsApp number for sending pass information, other details, and photo of the driver Have to upload.

Rules while carrying a vehicle during the Kawar Yatra

The driver has to keep all the forms related to the vehicle.

The speed limit of the vehicle shall not exceed 20 km/h.

It will be mandatory for the driver to have a driving licence.

The pressure horn will be completely banned and will not honk unnecessarily.

Drivers shall keep their vehicle’s headlights on properly and shall not overtake while driving.

Drivers will not consume intoxicants, alcohol, etc. while driving and must use a dipper at night.

Will not drive the vehicle on the restricted route.

Have to follow route diversion done given Kanwar Yatra.

Will paste the vehicle’s name on the windscreen of the vehicle.

In case of an emergency, inform the nearest police station.

Will not seat more than the prescribed number of passengers in the vehicle.

If an accident occurs due to the carelessness of the driver of the vehicle, then charges will be filed against that vehicle under the relevant sections.

Drive the vehicle carefully, according to the crowd of Kanwaris.

No objectionable item that is prohibited by any act or law will be carried in the vehicle.

This pass will automatically be considered cancelled if the road is closed due to a crowd of Kavadis or other disruptions or policy decisions.

No loud sound equipment or loudspeakers will be installed or played in the vehicle.
