Kanpur–Lucknow Expressway: Uttar Pradesh is set for a major development boost as the Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway gets closer to opening.
The UP government also plans to turn the expressway into a startup corridor, which will help in creating jobs for people. This is part of a broader plan by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to make Uttar Pradesh a hub for innovation.
Travel between Kanpur and Lucknow in just 45 mins
The Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway is expected to open by the beginning of the new year. Once it’s open, with a speed upto 160km\h, this 67-75 km road will allow you travel between the two cities in just 45 minutes.
It is also connected to the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, which will reduce the distance to Delhi.
This new 8-lane expressway will cross Banthra, Bani, Datouli Kantha, Taura, Nyaurana, Amarsas, and Rawal Marg. The expressway will begin from Shaheed Path, located in Lucknow, and will go till Nawabganj, located in Kanpur.
Lucknow will become a startup hub in Uttar Pradesh
The state government aims to turn the area along the expressway into a startup hub. In the upcoming days, Lucknow will become a prime destination for business, tech companies, and entrepreneurs.
Officials believe that this project will attract investors and boost the local economy.
Along with the Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway, the government plans to develop land for manufacturing units, logistics parks, and technology clusters.
The state will also set up IT parks, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), and industrial centers to attract both local and international investment.
