Kanpur was stunned by a shocking incident when a stand operator was fatally shot in broad daylight at Naubasta Chowk.
The victim’s brother, involved in a heated dispute over illegal stand occupation, brazenly committed the crime using a firearm.
Upon receiving the distressing report, law enforcement and forensic teams promptly arrived at the scene to initiate investigations.

Despite the presence of a traffic police officer, the perpetrator managed to escape from the scene after the incident.
The chilling incident unfolded just steps away from Usmanpur Police Station and was captured on CCTV cameras at the location.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the murder at Naubasta Chowk, within the jurisdiction of Naubasta Police Station.
In recent days, Kanpur murders have gained attention. Recently, a stationary businessman in Kanpur was killed by his nephew, who was later arrested. During interrogation, the nephew admitted that a dispute over derogatory comments about his girlfriend and unpaid debts triggered the fatal attack.
Earlier, the murder of a book seller in Bilhaur, Kanpur on June 30 has been resolved, with the victim’s nephew confessing to the crime.
