A conscientious citizen cast his vote before proceeding to conduct the final rites of his brother. He has been affiliated with Sangh and BJP for several decades and has conveyed a distinctive message to society.
At 6 in the morning, Banwari Lal, a resident of Ramakrishna Nagar, pedaled his bicycle to RK Mission School to cast his vote. Just as he arrived at the polling station gate, he received news of his elder brother Karun Shankar Mishra’s demise. Typically, upon hearing such news, any individual would retreat, but Banwari Lal did something that surprised everyone.

Identifying himself as an exemplary citizen and conscientious voter, Banwari Lal initially experienced shock upon learning about his brother’s passing. However, recognizing his duty as a voter, he entered the polling booth and cast his vote. Following this, he departed for his elder brother’s funeral.
