Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway: Good News! Work On 63-Km Route Is Likely To Be Completed In… – Check Details

The deadline to complete the entire construction work is July, but is likely to get completed in next three months.

The most awaited Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway is likely to open for public after three months. The length of this route is 63-Km. Around 74 percent of the work on this route has been completed.

The deadline to complete the entire construction work is July, but is likely to get completed in next three months, as per media reports. The speed limit on this route is 120 Km/hour. The distance will be covered in 40 minutes instead of 3-4 hours. It will will connect Lucknow with Kanpur.

It will solve traffic related issues. Apart from this the route will cut travel time of commuters. The commuters will have a easy travel on this expressway once it gets operational.

This expressway is being built under Bharatmala Pariyojana. The estimated cost of the project is around Rs 4,700 crores. It will have 18-Km elevated route, which will connect Shahid Path to Banthra.

In this route the 45-Km section will be green field route. The expressway will enhance the connectivity in the region.

According to Navbharat Times, NHAI Project director, Saurabh Chaurasia said that the work is likely to get completed by April or May.
