The double decker bus moving towards Agra collided with the water tanker. In total 8 people have died in this accident and 19 have been injured. Due the collision the bus hit with the divider and overturned.
According to Kannauj SP Amit Kumar, “8 people have died and 19 were injured in the bus-water tanker collision on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway. All the injured are undergoing treatment at the Saifai Medical College.”

The bus was going from Lucknow to Delhi. According to media reports, Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. This accident took place at Auraiya border near Kannauj.
The double decker bus was coming from Lucknow towards Agra. In this accident 8 passengers sitting inside lost their lives. More than 19 passengers are badly injured. All the passengers have been admitted to the hospital.
If reports are to be believed, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh was also passing through the same route. Seeing the bus accident, the minister stopped his vehicle and ordered all the injured to be taken to the hospital. Narrating their ordeal, the passengers said that the bus was packed with people. Many people have suffered serious injuries.
According to media reports, a tanker was also present at the spot where the bus collided. The police have started investigation by taking the bus into custody.
