Police in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district reported that they have arrested a 32-year-old male on suspicion of killing a woman during an argument.

What did the Bharatpur authorities say?
They claimed that in a leased room in Patpara colony, which is part of the Sar Mathura police station jurisdiction, Sonu Sharma cut Poonam Sharma’s throat. It appears to be a romantic relationship. After authorities took the accused into custody, they are now questioning him. Despite the victim being single, authorities are investigating the accused, who is married and has children.
“Investigations are underway to determine the precise cause of the attack”, Bharatpur DSP Sunil Kumar Sharma said.
Following a post-mortem examination, he claimed that the authorities gave the body to the woman’s relatives. Hospital staff released the accused from the hospital following initial care after he allegedly attempted to cut his wrist as well, hurting himself. He stated that authorities at the Sar Mathura police station have filed a murder complaint against the accused and are looking into the case.
