Jolt To Opposition Unity: Samajwadi Party Quits MVA Over Differences Of Opinion On Babri Masjid Demolition

The party is having two MLA's in the Maharashtra Assembly. Samajwadi Party Maharashtra President Abu Asim Azmi posted on his X handle mentioning about party quitting the alliance.

Another shock to the Maha Vikas Aghadi, as Samajwadi Party quits the alliance and opposition in Maharashtra. The party parted away from the alliance due to remark of Uddhav Thackeray’s aide on Babri Masjid demolition.

The party is having two MLA’s in the Maharashtra Assembly. Samajwadi Party Maharashtra President Abu Asim Azmi posted on his X handle mentioning about party quitting the alliance. He mentioned in his post that, “Samajwadi Party is okay with going it alone in Maharashtra But being a part of Shiv Sena-UBT’s communal ideology while being in Mavikas Aghadi is absolutely unacceptable!”

Azmi mentioned the reason in his post on X. He clarified that they are parting away because of difference in communal ideology.

What Made Samajwadi Party Took This Step?

Shiv Sena-UBT leader Milind Narvekar posted a photo on his X handle, which is regarding the demolition of Babri Masjid. Narvekar shared the image, on which a quote is written stating, “I am Proud of those who did this.”
