Girl’s father claimed that teacher followed his daughter
According to NDTV, the girl’s father claimed that the teacher allegedly used to harass her and followed his daughter to their home.
Teacher proposed to the student
In his complaint to police, the girl’s father said that the English teacher proposed to the student during lunch break. The teacher told her that he liked her and his horoscope had predicted two wives in his life.
Father lodged complaint against ACBEO
The father further stated in his complaint that the teacher, Dalpat Garg, stalked her daughter and made obscene gestures. He also filed a complaint against the Chief Block Education Officer (CBEO) and the assistant chief block education officer (ACBEO), who forced him to withdraw the complaint.
Mumbai: Woman, teen ‘boyfriend’ held for rape
In a separate incident, a 30-year-old woman and her 19-year-old ‘boyfriend’ have been arrested in connection with the alleged rape and murder of her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter in Mumbai’s Malvani area, police said on Monday.
According to officials, the arrested woman has been identified as Reena Sheikh, and the man as Farhan Sheikh.
Incident took place in the Malvani area
The incident took place in the Malvani area of Mumbai, where the accused teenager allegedly raped and killed the two-and-a-half-year-old girl in the presence of her mother, officials said. Police received information from the hospital that a two-and-a-half-year-old child had died, following which a team reached the hospital for investigation, they said.
Doctors confirmed that the child died as a result of shock due to asphyxia and that she had been sexually assaulted, the police said.
