A 30-year-old male applicant used various job portals to find positions as a clerk or administrator. The applicant believed in the authentic nature of the job offer because he received an employment call while trying to find work for multiple days as a 12th-grade graduate candidate. The job opportunity transformed into an unthinkable situation where the victim experienced blackmail and extortion. The job seeker trusted the suspicious job offer so he traveled to the specified address to meet with the accused. According to ACP-1 (Central Noida), Rajeev Gupta the suspects terminated the entry to the room from inside before they allegedly compelled him to perform an inappropriate sex act.
During the same period, police authorities captured the three perpetrators who both deceived the victim and created illegal pornographic content before trying to blackmail him. The extremists responsible for this act were Sandeep Singh (22), Vishnu Singh (22), and Rahul Kumar (19). The three men who came from Bulandshahar maintained their residence in a rented house located in the Illahabas section of Phase 2. The victim came to police on Saturday to report that an unknown caller had reached him on Thursday with a job offer.
As quoted by the Times of India, ACP mentioned, “The accused even recorded the entire act on their smartphone and assaulted him. Threatening to circulate his obscene video on social media platforms, they extorted Rs 2,500 via online payment mode and warned him of dire consequences if he dared to approach the police.”
ACP also stated that, “On his complaint, a case under sections 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 127(2) (wrongful confinement) and 308(5) (commit extortion by putting any person in fear of death) of the BNS and IT Act was registered at Phase 2 police station on Saturday and they were arrested from their rented accommodation.”
