New Delhi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday arrived the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Ranchi for his alleged connection in an illegal mining coal case.
Prior to his departure, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supporters in a huge number gathered around his house in the morning, expressing faith in the Chief Minister.
One of the supporters alleged that Hemant Soren is being trapped as he is doing a good work. Meanwhile, another supporter accused Narendra Modi-led government of pulling the strings.
He said, “Modi government always betrays non-BJP states. Our CM said if he’s guilty he should be arrested, still ED sent summon.”
Seeing the crowd of supporters, the Ranchi Police have made all the arrangements to control the situation if it turns violent.

He held the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government responsible behind the scenario, accusing that “it can be a conspiracy to destabilise the state government.”
“Our rivals were conspiring to topple government ever since we came to power. This submarine of conspiracy did not have strength to rise out of water- attempts being made to bring it out,” said the Jharkhand CM.
