J&K Polls: Richest Candidates In Fray – Altaf Bukhari And Others Have Wealth Worth Crores

Second phase of Jammu & Kashmir assembly election is going to be held today.

As second phase of Jammu & Kashmir assembly election is going to be held today. It will see voting across 26 assembly constituencies, 11 in Jammu and 15 in Kashmir. 239 candidates are in this fray. Here is the list of richest candidates in J&K assembly polls.

Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party with assets of worth Rs 165 crore is the richest candidate. He is contesting from Channapora assembly constituency.

After Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Tariq Hameed Karra from Congress is the second richest candidate with assets amounting to Rs 148 crore. He is contesting from Central Shalteng.

Third in the list is, Devender Singh Rana of BJP with declared wealth of Rs 126 crore. He is contesting from Nagrota assembly constituency in Jammu.

Fourth is Mushtaq Guroo of Jammu Kashmir National Conference with assets of Rs 94 crore. He has been fielded from Channapora assembly constituency.

Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections are being held in three phases for the 90 assembly constituencies. First phase of J&K assembly election got concluded in 18 September. Second phase is scheduled for today
