New Delhi: In a big success, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have recovered arms and ammunition from the hideout of the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

As per J&K Police, They have seized remote-controlled improvised explosive devices and programmed timer devices along with huge weapons.

In an official statement, Jammu and Kashmir Police said,” On the intervening night of 12th and 13th of March, a joint operation along with Indian Army’s 1RR was launched after a specific input developed over a period of time by Anantnag Police in Rakh Momin Dangi area Bijbehara of Anantnag which led to the busting of LET hideout and subsequent recovery of huge arms, ammunition and other war like equipment”.

According to the information given by Jammu and Kashmir Police, Five IEDs-PTD programmed timer devices and RCIEDs(Remote controlled Improvised Explosive Devices), three pistols, five pistols magazines, six detonators, 124 9mm rounds, four remote controls, and thirteen batteries were recovered from the hideout.
