Ahmedabad: Dalit leader and MLA from Vadgam, Gujarat Jignesh Mevani made a serious allegation against former state home minister Pradipsinh Jadeja, claiming that he was attacked by ex-home minister’s goons in public rally in Ahmedabad.
A tweet from Mevani’s social media team claims that the leader was attacked by goons of Gujarat’s ex- home minister (Pradipsinh Jadeja) at a public rally in Ahmedabad’s Vastral area.
The social media team also claimed that the attack on Mevani happened in the presence of police.

“Vadgam MLA Jignesh Mevani attacked by Gujarat’s ex home minister Pradipsinh Jadega’s goon at a public meeting in Ahmedabad’s Vastral area in presence of police -s ocial media team,” the tweet read.
According to media reports, Jignesh Mevani and Gujarat chairman of Congress’s Scheduled Castes Department Hitendra Pithadiya were present for a meeting at Narmada Apartments in Vastral, Ahmedabad late on Monday evening, when some people attacked him.
Hitendra Pithadiya claimed, through a tweet, that Pradipsinh Jadeja’s goon Labhu Desai attacked Jignesh Mevani and tried to stop the meeting.

He further claimed that the attack was carried out in the presence of the police. Pithadiya also questioned the law and order situation in Gujarat with this tweet.
