Vivek Chandra, New Delhi: On the second day of Jharkhand Tribal Festival, colorful performances were performed by tribal artists from all over the country. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was the chief guest of the closing ceremony.

The performances of Chhau and other folk dances captivated the people. The audience swayed to the tune of dance and song music. A large crowd of people was also seen in the exhibition of tradition items organized on this occasion.

Bhupesh Baghel was the chief guest
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was the chief guest of the closing ceremony of the program on the second day. Bhupesh Baghel was welcomed according to the traditions of tribal culture. He was welcomed with traditional musical instruments on the occasion. The program started by lighting the lamp by the chief guest Bhupesh Baghel.

Fight has to be fought for rights: Bhupesh Baghel
Addressing the people at the Jharkhand Tribal Festival, Chief Guest of the closing ceremony, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the tribal leadership was never behind. The major role of our tribal leaders has been in liberating the country. He further said that the central government is not helping us. Our rights are being taken away. We have put this demand in NITI Aayog. The right of Gram Sabha is being withdrawn. We have to fight this long battle. He also wished Hemant Soren on his birthday. While attacking the BJP, he said that a bouncer was thrown to overturn the power in Jharkhand but the government changed in Bihar.

Worry to save tribals: Hemant Soren
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren thanked Bhupesh Baghel for attending the program. He said that we have saved water, forest and land. Today people worry about saving trees and animals, but today no one cares about how to save tribals. He further said that today is also a day of resolution. We will have challenges but we don’t have to panic and keep moving forward.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel felicitated Salima Tete, Nikki Pradhan and Sangeeta Kumari, members of the bronze medal winning team in Birmingham Commonwealth Games, from the stage of the closing ceremony.

 

The enthusiasm did not stop even in the rain
Despite the heavy rain, the enthusiasm of the people in the festival did not diminish. Despite the bad weather, a large number of people gathered till the night to enjoy the festival.

Jharkhand Tribal Mahotsav may have ended with colorful programs but it has not only given a new impetus to the tribal community but has also inspired the country and the world to move with nature, the basic mantra of tribal cultures.
