On Monday morning, officials reported that at least four Maoists were killed in a police clash in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district. This incident occurred just two days after a confrontation in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district, where eight Maoists and a Special Task Force (STF) jawan lost their lives.

The encounter took place in the Tonto and Goilkera area as part of a police operation aimed at countering Maoist activities in the region. Jharkhand Police spokesperson and IG (Operations) Amol V Homkar confirmed the incident.
