Voting for the first phase of Jharkhand Assembly election is underway. The campaign for the first phase ended on Monday. The Jharkhand assembly election will take place in two phase, phase 1 on November 13, that is today and Phase 2 on November 20.

First Phase In Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024
In first phase voting will take place for 43 constituencies and in second phase voting will take place on 38 constituencies. The result for Jharkhand assembly election will be out on November 23.
Total 683 candidates are for first phase 1 of the Jharkhand election. Former CM Champai Soren is contesting under this phase.
Under this phase, six seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes and 20 for the Scheduled Tribes. While 17 are the general seats.
For first phase of voting over 15,000 polling stations have been set up. Under phase 1 12,716 booth have been established in rural areas and 2,628 in Urban areas. For the first phase voting will start at 7am and end at 5pm.
