Man Reported The Case To Jhansi Police
Since January 18, I’ve been anxious. My wife Richa Soni, who is now a Lekhpal, left me. I’ve been searching everywhere for her, going from door to door. Today, she was supposed to receive her Lekhpal appointment letter, so I went to the Collectorate when I found out. I searched everywhere but couldn’t find her. She took the appointment letter and left. I did everything for her
He recounted their meeting 5-6 years ago when she was teaching young children, which developed into a friendship and later blossomed into love within about six months. They married willingly at Orchha temple and initially lived happily. After some disagreements, she went to her parents’ home, prompting him to file a Section 9 petition in family court to bring her back. In January, Richa was selected as a Lekhpal. However, immediately after getting the job on January 18, she left him. Since then, he hasn’t seen her except once at the police station, where she insisted he go to the SDM and sign an affidavit denying their marriage.
The husband expressed how hard it was to educate Richa, despite their carpentry income of 400-500 rupees per day. They often took loans to support her education. He now struggles with sleepless nights, constantly thinking about her. He questions her denial of their marriage despite having wedding photos and a certificate from their marriage in Orchha in February 2022. He’s deeply upset, searching everywhere for her while she claims it’s all a plot to tarnish her reputation.
