The link between Noida International Airport and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will likely take several months to complete due to ongoing work on an elevated track near Ballabhgarh in Haryana. Construction of the elevated track has begun, but the project requires at least six months to be completed. The elevated route will be of three kilometers. Officials from the Yamuna Authority noted that the NHAI has built the Greenfield Corridor, which extends 31 kilometers across six lanes between Noida International Airport and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The upcoming infrastructure under the Bharatmala Project is expected to cost Rs 2,414 crores, as per media reports.
According to a report by Live Hindustan, the expressway covers 22 kilometers along the Haryana border and stretches 9 kilometers through the Jewar border in Uttar Pradesh. A three-kilometer elevated track will be constructed near Ballabhgarh in Haryana.
The interlink between the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway in Jewar remains blocked due to incomplete construction on the Haryana border section. The NHAI has begun work on the three-kilometer elevated traffic link, but the project is expected to take approximately six months to complete.
Additionally, a greenfield expressway connecting the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway near Dayanatpur village features an operational eight-lane interchange. Once operational, Noida International Airport will provide direct accessibility to Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Greater Noida residents, along with other inhabitants of the NCR, Agra, and Mathura. The 750-meter-long expressway interchange will serve as a vital connection between the Yamuna Expressway and the airport.
