Union Minister for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu stated in Rajya Sabha that this will the the largest airport in Asia. He also mentioned that the airlines are to start the work there and enhance the connectivity.

This airport is going to be a gift for the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. This will benefit the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. It will save their time and money. Before the people living in Noida and Greater Noida used to go to Delhi Airport to catch their flight. But now it will become easier for them to board the flight, as Airport in Noida will be operational on April, 2025.

As quoted by the Economic Times, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu stated that “Everything is going according to timelines and very soon in the month of April we will see regular operations starting from Jewar-Noida International Airport.”

He further mentioned that airlines like Air India and Indigo are excited to enhance connectivity. The Minister further stated, “The government is working on adding another 100 airports across the country.”
