Patna: Janata Dal-United (JDU) on Tuesday announced the new national executive committee and appointed senior leader Mangani Lal Mandal as the national vice-president of the party.

In a shocking move, JDU did not include Senior leader and national general secretary K.C. Tyagi in the new committee. Former MP Tyagi was associated with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the last three decades.

The party has also changed its Delhi state president, Shailesh Kumar appointed as new JDU chief of Delhi. 

General Secretary Afaq Ahmed Khan released the new list of the party’s executive committee, in which Ramnath Thakur, Ali Ashraf Fatmi, Sanjay Jha, Girdhari Yadav, Santosh Kumar Kushwaha, Ram Sewak Singh, Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi, Dasai Chowdhary, Ghulam Rasool Balyavi, R. P. Mandal, Vijay Kumar Manjhi, Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, Kahkshan Parveen and Raj Kumar Sharma appointed as general secretaries.

As per the list, Former MLA Ranjani Ranjan will be the new general secretary and national spokesperson of the Party.

Former MP Dhananjay Singh, Qamar Alam, Harish Chandra Patil, Asfaq Ahmed, Engineer Sunil, Harshvardhan and Raj Singh Mann were appointed as General secretaries by JDU

The party has also nominated 7 national secretaries including Ravindra Prasad Singh, Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, Sanjay Verma, Anoop Patel, Dayanand Rai and Sanjay Kumar. MP Alok Kumar Suman has been given the post of party treasurer.
