Rajasthan: A shocking incident recently took place in Jodhpur’s Bhawi village, where a JCB driver allegedly attempted to run the vehicle over a group of women protesting at the site. The disturbing event, caught on camera, captures the exact moment when the JCB moved forward, trying to crush the women. However, the women narrowly escaped the tragedy by moving aside and running to save their lives.
According to reports, the dispute occurred over the drainage of pond water in the village. An administrative team had reached the village to take stock of the situation. While the team members were talking to the villagers, the situation turned chaotic after the JCB driver tried to run the vehicle over the women in a rash manner.
Had the women not run or moved to save their lives, it would have resulted in serious consequences. The act has since sparked serious concerns about the misuse of heavy machinery. It has also highlighted as well as exposed the situation in the village on the issue of water drainage in Jodhpur. What’s even more alarming is that despite authorities being present at the site, no action was taken against the driver at the time of the incident.
