In recent months, Jammu has experienced three significant terrorist incidents, with security agencies receiving crucial intelligence input regarding the Rajouri attack. According to sources, Sajid Jatt, a member of Lashkar-e-Taiba, is responsible for these incidents. Currently based in Islamabad, Pakistan, he has established his headquarters there after an extended period of activity in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Sajid Jatt's wife, who is of Indian origin, also resides in Islamabad. He is currently overseeing Lashkar's recruitment efforts and executing tasks for the terrorist organization, which include deploying trained militants across the border into India. Additionally, Sajid Jatt holds the position of operational commander within Lashkar. The NIA has announced a ₹10 lakh reward for Sajid Jatt, who is officially listed on their wanted list. According to the list, Safiullah, also known as Sajid Jatt, hails from Shanga Manga village in Kasur district, Punjab, Pakistan. Sajid Jatt has strong ties to the terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba and TRF.
