Seven-time MLA from the Ambala Cantt constituency Anil Vij has once again retained his seat. He has won by a margin of 7000+ votes.
Assembly election results for Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana are set to be announced today on October 8. The counting shall begin at 08:00 am as the strong rooms are unlocked. Assembly elections in both states are going to see an interesting figure this time for their own fateful reasons. While Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed assembly polls after ten years since 2014 and this happens to be the first state assembly election after it got split into two union territories, Haryana too has witnessed a series of incidents since its last polls – the farmer’s protest and the wrestler’s protest that ignited the nation actually had their focal point in Haryana.
In Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana, a handful number of seats are set to see thrilling and rather nail-biting contests. Candidates of different parties ranging from the BJP, INC to JKNC, PDP, JJP and AAP are in the ring for a close contest in these constituencies where every vote means the world, where every count would be decisive. From Langate, Ganderbal and Sopore to Julana, Uchana Kalan and Gurgaon, these constituencies are the hottest seats in the assembly election results to be declared on October 8.
