Today, in Srinagar, police in collaboration with security forces successfully dismantled a significant terror network associated with the banned terrorist organization JeM by apprehending four terrorist associates, as per a statement from a police spokesperson.

The spokesperson added that they set up a joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) in the Kenihama region of Nowgam on the city’s outskirts this evening, in response to precise intelligence.
The spokesperson reported that during a routine check, security forces intercepted a vehicle and arrested four individuals suspected of terrorism. Authorities identified them as Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, Sheraz Ahmad Rather, Gulam Hassan Khandey, and Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, originating from various regions. Security forces seized substantial evidence from them, including weapons like an AK 56 rifle, a Glock Pistol, and explosives such as grenades. Initial investigations indicate their affiliation with the banned terrorist organization JeM. Authorities have filed a case against them under relevant laws, and they are currently conducting further inquiries.
