Jammu-Bound Air India Express Flight Returns Mid-Air To Delhi Due To Technical Issue

An Air India Express flight from Delhi to Jammu returned shortly after takeoff due to a technical issue. Flight IX2564, which was to operate on the Delhi–Jammu route on Monday afternoon, was diverted back to the national capital soon after departure.

A spokesperson for Air India Express confirmed what happened and said, “An alternative aircraft was arranged to operate our Delhi–Jammu flight after the original aircraft returned to Delhi due to a technical issue.”

Air India Express flight IX2564, scheduled to operate from Delhi (DEL) to Jammu (IXJ) on June 23, was diverted back to Delhi after takeoff.
