Jammu And Kashmir: Terrorists Fire At Army Truck In Rajouri’s Sunderbani Area

Terrorist attack on army vehicle in Sunderbani area of Rajouri district in Jammu region.

Unidentified armed men allegedly opened fire at an Indian Army vehicle in Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday afternoon. The incident took place near Phall, Mallah, under the jurisdiction of Sunderbani police station.

Unidentified armed men allegedly opened fire at an Indian Army vehicle in Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday afternoon. The incident took place near Phall, Mallah, under the jurisdiction of Sunderbani police station.

According to reports, the incident took place around 12.45 pm when terrorists fired three to four rounds at an army convoy and managed to flee the spot.

After the incident, a heavy force cordoned off the area and started an extensive search to track down the armed assailants. The incident took place around 1 pm barely five to six kilometres away from the CRPF Battalion headquarters and it came to fore that attackers fired at 9 JAK vehicles when it was patrolling in the area. Forces are conducting a search in the vicinity, and further investigation is underway.
