Jaipur, Rajasthan: The death toll in the deadly road accident in Jaipur that took place on Monday (November 3, 2025) has risen to 19. Rajasthan Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar confirmed that 12 individuals are still undergoing medical treatment, out of which three are critical. According to reports, the incident occurred after a speeding dumper truck rammed into several vehicles in Loha Mandi, located in the Harmada area.
The dumper truck driver, identified as Kalyan Meena, a resident of Virat Nagar, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when he went on a five-kilometer rampage.

Following the massive mishap, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the tragic deaths and announced an ex gratia of Rs 2,00,000 for all the deceased. “Pained by the loss of lives due to a mishap in Jaipur, Rajasthan. My thoughts are with those who have lost their near and dear ones. I pray that the injured recover soon. An ex gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000,” the Prime Minister’s Office posted on X.
Surinder, who was driving one of the cars hit by the trolley in the Harmada PS area accident, told ANI, “The truck was coming from the Loha Mandi side. The truck was at full speed, the driver was completely drunk, and trampled everyone in its path. My car was parked and I was inside the car…”

President Droupadi Murmu also expressed grief over the loss of lives in the Jaipur road mishap. “The news of the deaths of several people in a road accident in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is extremely heartbreaking. I express my deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in this heart-wrenching incident and pray for the swift recovery of those who have been injured,” she said.
