Jacqueline Fernandez: Delhi’s Patiala House court on Saturday extended Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s interim bail till November 10 in Rs 200 crore money laundering case.
Before this, on November 10, Jacqueline’s regular bail and other pending applications will be heard.
Let us inform that Jacqueline had reached Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Saturday in connection with her regular bail plea. After the hearing, the court directed the ED to provide the charge sheet and other relevant documents.
Last month Jacqueline was granted bail by the court on a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
Jacqueline has been questioned by Delhi Police
The actress was summoned twice by the Delhi Police for questioning for her alleged role in the case. Last week, Jacqueline’s stylist Lipakshi Elawadi was questioned by the Economic Offenses Wing of the Delhi Police for nearly eight hours.
During interrogation, Elawadi admitted that she knew about Jacqueline Fernandez and Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s relationship. An official had claimed that Sukesh Chandrashekhar had contacted Elavadi to inquire about the clothing brand Jacqueline was wearing.
Jacqueline broke the relationship after Sukesh’s arrest
Police said that Elawadi also told the police that as soon as the news of Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s arrest spread, Jacqueline broke all ties with him. Investigation had revealed that Chandrashekhar had offered a motorcycle to Jacqueline’s agent Prashant on his birthday, but he refused to take it. Still, Chandrashekhar had left the bike and its keys with Prashant. This bike has been confiscated.
Chandrashekhar is currently lodged in jail. Sukesh Chandrashekhar is accused of defrauding several people, including high-profile individuals like Aditi Singh, wife of Shivinder Mohan Singh, former promoter of Fortis Healthcare. According to the ED, Jacqueline and another Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi received luxury cars and other expensive gifts from them.
