Aasif Suhaf, Pahalgam: A major accident has occurred in Chandanwadi, Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. An Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) bus crashed into a gorge, killing six jawans and injuring several others, who were taken to Army Hospital Srinagar for treatment. According to reports, the bus carried 39 soldiers. Many soldiers are believed to have been killed or injured in the accident. The rescue operation is currently underway.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known, according to officials. Four personnel died on the scene, and two others died from their injuries while being transported to the hospital. According to officials, the majority of the injured are in critical condition, have been admitted to a nearby hospital, and are being transported to the Army’s 92 Base Hospital here.

The bus was travelling from Chandanwadi to Pahalgam when it had crashed into a ditch. According to reports, the bus’s brakes failed, causing the bus to lose control and become a victim of the accident.

According to the information, the 39 jawans include 37 ITBP personnel and 2 Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel. The roadside fell into the river after the brakes on the bus carrying them all failed. According to reports, all of the soldiers were on their way from Chandanwadi to Pahalgam. Soldiers were stationed in the area in preparation for the Amarnath Yatra.
