After the announcement of the election outcomes on December 3, the MLAs were informed about the impending meeting. BJP MLA Jogeshwar Garg noted that the appointed observers for the legislative assembly session would arrive in Jaipur on Tuesday. Their schedule includes one-on-one discussions with the MLAs in the morning, followed by a formal session after lunch, during which the legislative body leader or the designated Chief Minister will be elected.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with Saroj Pandey and Vinod Tawde, has been assigned as observers for this process. MLA Kirodi Lal Meena confirmed that the MLAs have been duly informed about the scheduled legislative assembly gathering. Responding to queries regarding the meeting of certain MLAs with former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje at her residence on Monday, Meena clarified that post-election results, 17 MLAs had also met with him.
