Good news for the pilgrims who are planning a Char Dham yatra. IRCTC has planned to re-operate the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train on the iconic Char Dham Yatra circuit. This move is to facilitate the Char Dham route. This Special train will cover important places like Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, and Dwarkadhish.
Char Dham Package
The Char Dham Yatra tour will begin on May 27, 2025, from Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station. This date has been scheduled soon after the Badrinath Dham opens to pilgrims in the first week of May. The Dham will span 17 days, where you can book tickets from IRCTC website as the pilgrimage will be operated by the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation.

- Badrinath: Badrinath temple, Mana Village and Joshimath.
- Rishikesh, Jagannath Puri, Konark Sun Temple, and Chandrabhaga Beach
- Rameshwaram & Dhanushkodi, including the famous Ramanathaswamy Temple

- Additional visits to Jyotirlinga temple in Varanasi, Pune and Nashik.
Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train
The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train offers a wide range of modern comforts and features designed for a premium travel experience. 189,212 Devotees Visited
Reports indicate that the Chardham Yatra has seen a footfall of 189,212 pilgrims so far. Of these, 79,699 have visited Kedarnath, 48,194 have visited Yamunotri, 37,739 have visited Gangotri, and 23,580 have visited Badrinath Dham.
Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj emphasised the importance of upholding the tradition of Atithi Devo Bhava (Guests are like God) for pilgrims undertaking the Chardham Yatra. He also extended his congratulations to the people of the state and the nation on the ceremonial opening of the gates of Badrinath Dham.
