Due to this passengers faced problems seeing certain details or availing the service from the site. This is the third time the site faced an outage.
About The Outage
As per Downdetector, this site faced this problem at 10:10 am. This incident took place just after the booking of Tatkal started. Due to this outage, many people were not able to avail the facilities from the site.

Many users posted about it on their X handle. Manoj Gautam a social media user wrote that “Oh no, IRCTC‘s down again! Guess Tatkal bookings are out of the question for now.”
Another Divya Kumari posted on his X handle and wrote, “I am thinking of going to Goa for New Year party but the Railways cheated me. IRCTC down. No Tatkal bookings”

About Similar Incident
A similar incident happened on Thursday, December 26, 2024. During this, the passengers could not access the IRCTC website and the IRCTC application. According to the Downdector, a site that monitors the status of websites, more than 2,500 users faced problem during that outage on December 26.
