To celebrate International Women’s Day in a special way, Central Railways is operating a Vande Bharat Express with an all-women crew for the first time. The train, number 22223, travels from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai to Shirdi. The entire crew consisted of only women. This includes the loco pilot, assistant loco pilot, train manager, ticket examiners, and the on-board catering staff.

She shared that Indian Railways has always worked to support and empower women, and this is a great step in that direction.
