India’s First Vistadome Jungle Safari Train Launched In UP! Full Route, Journey Time And Ticket Price Details Inside

The new tourist train runs on weekends, however, plans are underway to expand its services to include daily operations. This initiative not only takes nature-based tourism to an elevated level but also aims to generate employment opportunities and boost economy.

Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country to offer a jungle safari experience with the launch of a first-of-its-kind Vistadome coach service. The train aims to promote tourism, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the forest area to the travelers. According to a statement, the Vistadome train will connect the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary to the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve.

Thanks to the specially designed coach, which will showcase the beauty of the wooded landscape of UP through large glass windows and transparent roofs. The new tourist train runs on weekends, however, plans are underway to expand its services to include daily operations. This initiative not only takes nature-based tourism to an elevated level but also aims to generate employment opportunities and boost economy.

Journey Time And Ticket Price Details

Tourism Director Prakhar Mishra said that in alignment with this breakthrough initiative, Dudhwa National Park, Katarniaghat, and Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary have been integrated to offer tourists an exciting experience via Vistadome coach service. He explained that through the train, tourists can travel 107 Km deep inside the forest.

Notably, the estimated time for the journey is 4 hours and 25 minutes (approx). Meanwhile, tickets are priced at Rs 275 per tourist. On the other hand, the board is preparing a package to transport tourists from Lucknow to Katarniaghat, Mishra said.

Bichia To Mailani Tourist Passenger Train

Sharing details about the Bichia to Mailani Tourist Passenger Train No. 52259, Mishra said that it offers a 107 km-long journey from Bichia station in Bahraich. It starts at 11.45 am, passing through multiple stations before culminating at Mailani station in Lakhimpur Kheri at 4.10 pm. The return journey, on train number 52260, is scheduled to begin at 6.05 am and conclude at Bichia by 10.30 am. The train stops at a total of 9 stations: Bichia, Manjhara Purab, Khairatia Bandh Road, Tikunia, Belerayan, Dudhwa, Palia Kalan, Bhira Kheri, and Mailani.
