New Delhi: Indian Army Chief Manoj Pandey will be on a tour of Ladakh today. This visit of the Indian Army Chief is very important during the planned withdrawal of Indian and Chinese troops in the area of Gogra and Hotsprings PP-15.

In fact, as tensions with China increased, India and China deployed thousands of troops on both sides of the LAC. Due to which there was a standoff between the two countries for the last two years.

After the agreement was reached, the soldiers of India and China have started retreating, this process will be completed by 12 September. According to the information, the Indian Army can withdraw its troop towards Karam Singh Hill, while the Chinese army can return to the Chinese territory towards the north.

Earlier on Friday, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the process of retreat from both the armies has been started on Gogra-Hot Springs from September 8 and both the armies will clear this place by September 12. It has been agreed between the two sides that the troops will be removed in a phased manner in the entire region and will be called back to their territory.

Let us tell you that the annual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is going to be held in Uzbekistan.
