Monsoon Session: The Opposition Alliance Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A) on Tuesday decided to bring no-confidence motion against the Narendra Modi-led central government in the Lok Sabha during the monsoon session of Parliament, sources said. The sources added that all parties are on board and the strategy for Lok Sabha is underway.

The leaders of the Congress and like-minded parties on Tuesday organised a meeting and discussed the proposals to move no-confidence motion again the Central Government.
A meeting of opposition leaders was organized in the chamber of the leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, ahead the proceedings of Monsoon session of Parliament.
The leaders who attended the meeting were– Raghav Chanda, Pramod Tiwari, Jairam Ramesh, TMC’s Derek O’Biren and others.
Both the houses faced adjournments over the demand of discussion on the Manipur situation.
It is noted that the last time a no-confidence was brought against the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government in 2003.
The opposition strategy to corner the government on Manipur will continue in the Rajya Sabha as well, the sources said.
