New Delhi: Today there is news of relief for India regarding global Coronavirus pandemic. However, a slight increase has been registered in the daily cases of Covid. Today, about 5,000 new cases of Covid have been reported in the country.
In the last 24 hours, 5,221 new cases of coronavirus have been reported, while 15 people died. Earlier on Sunday, 5,076 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the country. While 11 people died.
An increase of 145 has been registered in the daily number of newly infected patients as compared to yesterday.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning, 5,221 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours while 15 people have died. During this 5,975 people managed to beat the coronavirus.
With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has come down to 47,176. In the last 24 hours, there has been a decline in the number of active cases by 769.
With this, the total number of Covid infected people in the country has increased to 4 crore 45 lakh 580. Whereas the number of people recovering has increased to 4 crore 39 lakh 25 thousand 239.
At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 28 thousand 165 people have died due to Covid infection in the country so far.
The government is emphasizing on vaccination to control the coronavirus pandemic. Till now the number of vaccination has reached 215 crore 26 lakh 13 thousand 049. At the same time, 30 lakh 76 thousand 305 people have been given the dose of corona vaccine in the last 24 hours.
