With this, less than 2000 new cases of corona have been reported in the country today.

There has been a decrease of 467 in the daily number of newly infected patients as compared to yesterday.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning, in the last 24 hours, 1,957 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country while 8 people have died. During this, 2,654 people managed to beat the corona virus.

With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has come down to 27 thousand 374. A decrease of 705 has been registered in the number of active cases in the last 24 hours.

Vaccination coverage has exceeded 219.04 Cr

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 219.04 Cr (2,19,04,76,220) as per provisional reports till 7 am on Tuesday. The total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 46 lakh 16 thousand 394. While the number of people recovering has increased to 4 crore 40 lakh 63 thousand 151. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 28 thousand 822 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country so far.

According to the information given by the Ministry of Health, the number of people recovering from corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.75 percent. At the same time, active cases comprise 0.06 percent of the total infection. The daily positivity rate is 0.71%.
