India Extends Airspace Ban On Pakistani Aircraft Till June 23; Restriction Covers Civilian And Military Flights

On Friday, Pakistan announced the extension of its airspace closure for all Indian airlines until June 24.

India extends NOTAM for Pakistan flights for one month; to be in effect till 23rd June, 2025. Indian airspace is not approved for ACFTs registered in Pakistan and ACFTs operated/owned or leased by Pakistani airlines/operators, including military flights, says the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

The restriction affects all aircraft that are registered, operated, or owned by Pakistani airlines and the military. On April 30, India closed its airspace to flights operated by Pakistan.
