INDIA Bloc may bring a no-confidence motion against Dhankar over alleged “partisan approach” in the house.
On Monday, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day due to an uproar in the house. BJP accused top leaders of the Congress party colluding with investor George Soros to destabilize the country. Also, there is an allegation made by the leaders on the Rajya Sabha Chairman of discrimination against the opposition leader by interrupting in between when leaders are speaking.
On adjournment of the house Congress leader Manickam Tagore stated, “It is unfortunate that for the third straight day, the house has been adjourned. It happened in the zero hour, it happened at noon, and then at 2 pm again. The government is not ready to run the Parliament. They want it to be closed. They shut down the voices of the opposition leaders, therefore they don’t want any kind of discussion… We want the house to function and a real debate should happen… The Parliament should have functioned in the last 11 days, but PM Modi has come to the Parliament for only 1 day.”
