IMD Weather Update: Temperature Soars In Delhi, Southern States Brace For Hot Days; Check Rainfall Forecast

Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema will experience hot and humid weather conditions on 27th and 28th March.

IMD Weather Update: The northern part of the country is set to be affected by the Western disturbance. It is expected to bring rainfall over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Uttarakhand from 25th to 27th March. Heavy rainfall and snowfall are likely in Jammu and Kashmir on 26th March. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall over the southern states on Tuesday. Karnataka, Kerala, and Mahe will witness rainfall as a result of trough that is running from south Chhattisgarh to north Kerala, across interior Maharashtra, and interior Karnataka in lower tropospheric levels. Heavy rainfall is predicted over Arunachal on 28th March.

Hot And Humid Weather Warning

While rain continues to lash some parts of the country, other regions are experiencing hot and humid weather conditions. Gujarat, Odisha, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh have reported hot weather conditions over the past few weeks.

The IMD has predicted hot and humid weather conditions over Gujarat on 25th March.

Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema will experience hot and humid weather conditions on 27th and 28th March.

Delhi Weather Update

Delhi residents will experience hot weather during the day, as the maximum temperature is expected to soar to 37 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The sky will remain will mainly clear, with a minimum temperature of 16 degrees Celsius. Tuesday, 25 March will be the hottest day in March if the mercury rises to 37 degrees during the day.

IMD Weather Update: Temperature Forecast

According to the IMD, Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C is expected over plains of Northwest during next 24 hours except Uttar Pradesh.

Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 4-6°C will be observed over West India and Northeast India during next 3-4 days.

It further added that a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-4°C is likely over Central India and Interior Maharashtra during next 3-4 days.
