India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today. As weather is undergoing transition in northern parts of the country, IMD has forecasted dense fog conditions in isolated parts of Himachal Pradesh, west Punjab during morning hours.
Rainfall Forecast
Southern states are expected to receive heavy rainfall during the week. IMD has predicted rainfall isolated heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu during 11th -17th November, Andhra Pradesh during 11th -14th November, Kerala during 13th -17th November and over South Interior Karnataka during 13th -15th November.

Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning is expected over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during 11th -15th November.
Weather System
About the existing weather system, IMD said that a low pressure area is likely to form over southwest Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours. Also, a fresh western disturbance is expected to affect the Western Himalayan region from 14th November. IMD said that during past 24 hours, dense to very dense fog conditions were reported from parts of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh which included areas like Bilaspur, Amritsar.

Temperature Conditions And Forecast
IMD observed that no significant change in minimum temperature was reported from most parts of the country during past 24 hours. The lowest minimum temperature of 13.2°C was reported at Mandla in East Madhya Pradesh yesterday.
Furthermore, IMD has predicted no significant change in minimum temperatures over northwest and central India during next 4-5 days. It also mentioned that there will be no significant change in minimum temperatures over East India during next 2 days but it will gradually fall by 3-4°C thereafter for subsequent 3 days.

Weather Forecast For Delhi
IMD in its press release said that slight fall has been observed in maximum and minimum temperature over Delhi/NCR during past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperature over Delhi is currently in the range of 30-32°C and 14 -19°C respectively.
Delhi will have mainly clear sky, smog/ mist/ Shallow fog is expected at few places in the morning.
AQI in Delhi: As per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 354 (Very Poor Category) on Tuesday at 6 am. While it has crossed 400 mark in several parts of Delhi, it continues to stay ‘very poor’ in remaining parts. AQI recorded at different parts of Delhi: Wazirpur (424), Jahangirpuri (419), Mundka (405), Anand Vihar (403), Ashok Vihar (391), Bawana (392), Patparganj (371), Dwarka-Sector 8 (366), ITO (346), Najafgarh (356), Punjabi Bagh (382).
