India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Gujarat. South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Tamil Nadu will continue to experience isolated heavy rainfall during next 5-6 days, said IMD in its press release.
South India
Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are expected to receive isolated heavy rainfall today.
Isolated heavy rainfall over Kerala and Mahe during the week has been predicted by the IMD.
South Interior Karnataka is also expected to receive isolated heavy rainfall during 12th-16th October.
West & Central India
Gujarat is expected to receive isolated heavy rainfall today. Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh will receive Isolated to Scattered light to moderate rain.
Northeast & East India
Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall has been predicted over Arunachal Pradesh during next 2 days. Whereas scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall for Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura has been predicted during 2 days.
Northwest India
No rainfall activity has been predicted for these regions during the week.
Delhi
Delhi will have partly cloudy sky today with maximum temperature of 34°C and minimum temperature of 19°C. No other specific warming has been issued for the national capital.

Southwest Monsoon Withdrawal
IMD informed that line of withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon continues to pass through 29°N/86°E, Darbhanga, Hazaribagh, Pendra Road, Narsinghpur, Khargone, Nandurbar, Navsari and 20°N/70°E. It said that conditions have become favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim during next two days.
