India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today. IMD in its press release stated that a fresh spell of heavy rainfall is expected to prevail over Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala during 12th -15th November 2024. In northern parts of the country, dense to very dense fog conditions will occur in night/morning hours in isolated pockets of Northwest Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh today.
Rainfall Forecast
IMD has forecasted light to moderate rainfall at a few places accompanied with isolated thunderstorm and lightning over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe during 10th-14th November.
Isolated heavy rainfall has been predicted for this week till 15th November in different parts of southern peninsular India. Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Mahe, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka are expected to receive rainfall during this period.

Temperature Conditions And Forecast
IMD observed that there was no significant change in minimum temperature over the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 14.2°C was reported at Ridge (Delhi) yesterday. IMD has informed that no large change in minimum temperature will take place over the country during next 2-3 days.

Weather Forecast For Delhi
IMD mentioned that there has been slight rise in maximum temperature and no significance change in minimum temperature over Delhi/NCR during past 24 hour. The maximum and minimum temperature over Delhi currently is in the range of 30-33°C and 14 -20°C respectively.
Delhi will have mainly clear sky today. Smog/mist/ shallow to moderate fog will prevail over few places in the morning. Smog/ mist condition is likely to develop in the evening/night also.
AQI in Delhi: According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi has been recorded at 346 on Monday at 6 am. It comes under ‘very poor’ category.
AQI from other parts of Delhi was recorded at: Jahangirpuri (407), Bawana (400), Patparganj (386), Punjabi Bagh (382), Mundka (380), Anand Vihar (377), Ashok Vihar (378), Patparganj (365), Burari Crossing (351), Najafgarh (355), Dwarka-Sector 8 (355), Narela (352), ITO (338), Mandir Marg (344), Pusa (323).
